When are we going to recognize that the act of being a "voting citizen", with all of what ought to apply to that description, is the intrinsic value that should automatically receive fair, socially viable compensation. It cannot be otherwise going into the future if we are to survive as a species.

As stated before, what this amounts to is trying to continue on with the economics of scarcity, when our technology could clearly aid us in eliminating it. Doing so, by the way, in a manner that would serve to bring us back to cooperating on a more personal, day to day, basis. Engaging each other because the community's life depended on it, as opposed to what supposedly motivates us now.
