It will, in fact, be the considered application of technology that will allow us to do the difficult process of de emphasizing specialization; of making it possible for generally capable people to do a great deal of what only highly specialized training can allow for now. Personal AI assistants blended with better situational sensing systems; and process data bases that can provide task specific guidance in real time, with a high degree of fidelity when it comes to handling diverse contingency situations. It's all quite possible now.
All we need to do is to recognize that money, or the motivation of profit, are not required at all any more. Just think about it. I mean, seriously. Just think about it because continuing on as we are isn't going to do us much good at all.
