The real problem with Reich, as well as with Paul Krugman, is that they don't have the cojones to admit that the operating model itself is no longer viable. Just as the original version of Windows would be not be viable in today's billions of transactions a second, networked environment.
Information is money and human skill no longer works as a commodity. Democracy has become a euphemism for something completely different than what was intended by majority rule. One can only hope that everybody involved in taking it in the rear will eventually grow a pair.
